LIFE....

Is always throwing you curves, isn't it?!?!

This year (starting the end of last year) has been a whirlwind of UPS & DOWNS

with more downs than ups!

Lost my job, my dad passed away, didn't get accepted to school

but I always think

"God doesn't give us more than we can handle, right?"

Well, sometimes he does.

And I am a firm believer of

"Everything happens for a reason"

at least it's always good advice to give to other people

even though when it happens to you, you think

"Why Me?"

This week especially has been CRAZY for me!

It started out with me booking a flight to Florida to see my mom from May 12th-21st, got our dresses for Beth's wedding in July (along with all of the wedding stuff plans) then trying to figure out where I am going to start looking for a p/t job since my unemployment is running out soon, wanting to take my placement test for BCCC so I can start taking a summer class for my pre-reqs for the Radiology program for next year

then on Tuesday I get the call that Patty is finally having the baby so off to the hospital I go,

was up all night with her until she had the baby at 5:08am Weds then home to bed for a few hrs. A school field trip on Thursday morning with McKendra & all I wanted to do was take a nap when I got home...I come home to a little unexpected money and a phone call from Einstein Med Ctr advising me that someone has dropped out of the program and if I am still interested, I am next on the waiting list!! So, now here it is Saturday night, I have changed my flight & am leaving tomorrow until next Monday..Have orientation for school when I get back & starting school on May 19th. Again, everything happens for a reason and I sure do hope this is the start of something good..I think my life is finally looking up!!

Today I went with McKendra's class to Pennsbury Manor..I have never been there before & I really enjoyed it!

Baseball practice

McKendra started playing baseball a few weeks ago, she is doing really well for being a beginner & really loves the game!

Jack & Miranda

Yesterday I watched Jack & Miranda for a few hours..they are just too damn cute!

they were racing!

Poor Jack was getting frustrated because he couldn't figure out how to get started riding his bike and how to keep it going straight.

so he decided to get his quad out instead but ofcourse the battery died right away!

The baby is finally here!!!

(4 days past her due date)

We were up all night waiting for him

it was a busy, long night

but I'm glad I was there to experience it!

GBC Helmets

Bridget's team had my dad's initials added to their helmets this year..it was sooo nice of them to do this in honor of my dad!

We brought this chair down to the game for John to sit in since he just had surgery recently but the other reason was because my dad used to bring this chair down to the games to embarrass Bridget..it always worked and still does!!

On Monday we drove down to Bridget's softball game since they were having a "little thing" for the Seniors on the team (even though Bridget will be going an extra year since she was red shirted for her shoulder)

Bridget had to sit out of this game because she is still having problems with her shoulder.

GBC Athletic Awards Ceremony

Last night we went to Bridget's awards ceremony at her College, it was very nice, but they did not give out awards for the Softball yet since their season isn't over.
