The Last Dance

Even though these are old
little did we know
these would be the only ones
we had of us
dancing with my dad
~
He would always yell at me when we danced
to let him lead
he always did this 2-step thing
that completly threw me off
I guess that's what they did
back in his day!

An oldie but goodie

Just looking through alot of old pictures lately and we came across this one ~ I don't even remember taking this one but I'm sure glad we did!!

Bridget was about 4 in this pic so it's about 18 yrs old

Baff in sink

Finally, this kid is loving bath time BUT it has to be a "Baff in sink" and she doesn't want to get out!!
(I put washcloths on the front & back of her so she doesn't get cold since she is a little too big for the sink ~ we call it "Superbaby")

Valentine's Day

Today was the 1st holiday that we spent without my dad..This was the holiday that he always got his "girls" something special, as small as it might have always been, usually candy & a card, TODAY was a very hard day without him for all of us but this little one kept our spirits as high as they could be!!

Gyllyan's 3rd Birthday

Since I did not celebrate Gyllyan's birthday with her this year, I am just getting around to giving her the gifts I bought for her. I don't think she realizes that it is over a month since her birthday but at this rate, she is starting to expect them all of the time!!

Every year I buy her the Precious Moments figurine with her age on it.

Found this on Lisa Bearnson's blog ...

so I am gonna go through my old stickers today and send them to him..I think this is such a great idea!

Hey--I need your help. Right before Christmas I was in my local copy center when I noticed a cute boy in his early 20s carefully choosing stickers. They were the Mrs. Grossman's, Sandy Lion, Frances Meyer type stickers--more on the younger, light-hearted side. I observed how he counted his change and then would carefully choose another sticker. He repeated this process several times. I asked the employee how often he does this and she said "Almost every day." I started chatting with him (his name is Brian) and found out he stuffs kid's meal bags at a nearby Subway, then on his breaks goes to the copy center for stickers. He says he LOVES stickers and is obsessed with them--he creates "picture books" with them. I got his name and address and took him a binder full of old stickers at Christmas time. He was thrilled and his mom was equally happy! I saw him a few weeks ago and he said he's almost out of stickers.So--here's what I thought would be fun. Go through your stash and the older stickers you no longer will use, consider sending them to Brian. His mom was thrilled with the idea and said I could include his address. It would be fun to do this as soon as possible so we can make his Valentine's Day really great.

Here's his address:

Brian Nishimoto

5663 W. 11200

NorthHighland, UT 84003

You all are the best. Thanks for helping with this great cause. And drop me a note if you do choose to send Brian some stickers.

The schools goal was $500 but alone she raised almost $170 and they ended up raising almost $3000 !!! Great Job James Buchanan Elementary School!
