BABY BLUES

Look at those baby blues!!! How adorable, how innocent looking (not really!) The poor little thing has mosquito bites all over her little face as she is chewing on ice..... 

MY 31st BIRTHDAY!

Today is my 31st birthday ... do I feel 31? no, well, sometimes ... do I act 31? not really... do I look 31? I don't think so ... do I hate the fact that I am 31? ABSOLUTLY!!!!!

This is why I call her my Monkey!!

This would be why I call her my monkey, she climbs on or gets into EVERYTHING!! Numerous times yesterday she tried to escape us at Sesame Place, Tina had to climb a few fences and we all had to chase after her at some point...MONKEY!!

Sesame Place

Gyllyan has been very into Elmo lately, so yesterday when we went to Sesame Place, that's all she kept saying .."Melmo, Melmo, Melmo"... So, finally we found Elmo and she LOVED him!! And Elmo loved her too!! (Actually, she loved all of the characters) She could not even wait her turn to run up to him and she wouldn't leave him, we had to pull her away in order for the other kids to have a turn...so we just kept getting back in line. Eventually, we had to tell her "Melmo" went night-night in order for her to leave....

FOOSBALLERS

Today was our 3rd annual Carnival Day at HomeConnects ... it was Human Foosball!!! It was a great time and for a great cause, The American Cancer Society. We all had team names and had challenges against each other, my team name was the Foosballers and I made us shirts, although we didn't win our game, we had fun playing!

I love this picture! this is my friend Kevin & I on the Spirit of Philadelphia at our work Christmas party....we work together, hang out together, we fight together (all of the time like brother & sister) but this was one picture that shows that we really are good friends!!

How stinking adorable is this little girl....sometimes I forget how fresh she can really be when I look at these cute little pictures of her..I tell her all the time.."Only a face a Godmother can love" and boy do I!!!! 

Jump! Jump! Jump!

Gyllyan loves to jump, she jumps on my bed, on my couch (and fell off) and loves the trampoline, the whole time she's jumping she says 'jump, jump, jump'. The other night when I took her home, she was running around the trampoline and would not get off, she would come over to me and when I tried to grab her to go in for dinner, she would get close to me and then she would run away and start jumping again and again and again! 

McKendra's birthday party

Today was Kenny's birthday party @ Build-A-Bear Workshop, it was alot of fun, even with 10 kids running around?!?! At one point Briana looked at me and said, "This makes me not want to have children!" sometimes I would agree but at this point in my life, I can't wait to have my kids running around all over the place...one day.....

McKendra's 7th birthday!!

Today is Kenny's 7th birthday, I can't believe it, my little godchild is already 7...I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday, holding her, crying, being so excited that she was finally here....where have the years gone? 

This is our future!!

When I was a child, we had no computers & if you had a 'word processor' at home, you were rich! This is our future, at 19 months, she even knows where her hand belongs on the mouse!!!!!!

Labor Day picnic

On Monday, I had Gyllyan and I was watching my friend Sherri's 2 kids (Jimmy 5 & Jaden 7wks). My cousins, Shannon and Beth offered to help take care of the baby, so off to my aunt's for a picnic we go...it actually turned out alot better than I thought since everyone tried to keep Gyllyan busy especially McKendra (who adores Gyllyan) and Ashleigh wouldn't let Jaden go!

Labor Day weekend

This weekend I had Gyllyan ... what an handful she is getting to be, I guess she is starting to enter her TERRIBLE 2's! She's always on the move, touches everything and throws a fit when she doesn't get her way!!! But we did have fun, I took her to Silver lake to see the ducks and to play on the playground, which I guess tired her out because by the time we went out to dinner at the Texas RoadHouse with Shannon & the girls, she was sooo tired and miserable the whole time but we had fun with it, check out the lemon face!
