Ashleigh & Briana's 17th Birthday

Tonight we went to dinner at TGIFridays for the girls birthday..I can't believe they are 17 already .. I remember the day they were born, I remember spending nights at their house hoping one of them would wake up in the middle of the night so I could get them out of their crib because I was so amazed at the fact that they were twins ... So grown, where has 17 years gone?

Last night we went to dinner at On The Border for Dana & Michelle's birthday's ... I love getting together with these girls, the joking, laughing, & silliness is alway so much fun!

Weekend Projects....

Since I will soon be laid off, I decided I am going to clean, rearrange, reorganize & redecorate where I can for the next few months...I am starting with the bathroom...I still need a few more things but it's coming along nicely!

Shopping at the Mall

I thought it would be fun to go see Santa at the mall since I had to look for a Christmas present as well (I don't like to go to the mall around the holidays) we sat with Santa but Gyllyan was not happy about it, didn't crack a smile once, so I didn't buy the pictures! We walked the whole mall looking for this 1 gift, which I couldn't find & the only way to go up or down is the elevator which has these rides right by it so ofcourse she wanted to ride them all! Every ride she gets on, she moves over & says "you sit Geshy" & I tell her my butt is too big...how long do you think it's going to be before she starts telling me I have a big butt!!

When we went to Michelle's house yesterday for our photoshoot, everything Gyllyan touched Michelle told her to take home...this was one of the toys Michelle told her to take & she loves it! Everytime we got in the car since yesterday, she tells me how she wants to "cowor" & even wants me to turn the light on when it's dark outside..this is how she fell alseep today on the way to the mall...thank you Michelle!

This poor kid can't shake her cough...I think everyone is sick with this CraZy weather we are having!!!

It's nice to have friends....

Today our friends Nikki & Maggie came over to play for a bit....since we had a VERY trying morning (Gyllyan got carsick on the way to meet Nikki & Maggie, then on the way to see the parade, we saw the sign that said it started at noon & not 1pm like we were there for it) it was nice to sit & relax for a bit! As you can see the girls had a good time playing with each other....

Happy Turkey Day!

I hope everyone had as great as a Thanksgiving as we did...I look so forward to the "special" foods that we only make on this day! Everything was delish & Mr. turkey was wonderful thanks to Patsy!

Cold & Rainy day

Today was the only one of McKendra's soccer games I was able to get to this season..ofcourse, it was a rainy, cold, miserable day for these poor little kids to be playing out there & it also went into OT but in the end, Kenny's team won 1-0!

Silly Putty

Michelle once told me that she gives the kids Play-do at restaurants to keep them occupied..so I bought a few of the Silly Putty eggs to keep in the diaper bag for when we go out...WELL, now everytime she is here, she wants her "egg". She loves to play with the Silly Putty & pretend to make things..here she was making Elmo ?!?! Doesn't look a thing like him but I guess in her mind it does.....as you can see, she uses her little animals to make prints in the putty..so cute & creative!

I wasn't supposed to have her this weekend, BUT last night at my Tastfully Simple demonstration when her mom & mom-mom went to leave, she wouldn't go with them...she wanted to stay with me! (ofcourse, that melts my heart) For the most part, she is really not miserable today but she is sick until I tried to take her picture, she didn't not want me to take it, but I was determined to get one anyway!

Carroll Girls Weekend Get-a-way

For about 4 yrs now, the ladies in my stepmom's family go away to a place that has outlets to get their Christmas shopping started, this year it was to Dewey Beach, DE...this is the 1st year I was able to go & it was alot of fun..there were 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms & 14 ladies!! Needless to say it all worked out & everyone came home with lots of shopping bags!
