Florida May 11th - 21st

I went to Florida for 10 days to visit my family and especially be there for Ayana's 1st birthday, even though her 1st birthday was May 22nd.....but I was there for the party! I had fun spending time with my sister and neices and even my mom's boyfriend (who can be a pain in my but, literally) since my mom was in the hospital the whole week I was there.

Winter is finally over!

or at least I hope it is. It happens every season, I can't wait until the next season to come along. I'm tired of this snow, sleet, & cold....yesterday we got out of work early due to the weather so I went to Shannon's for dinner & scrapping! At least I go a few layouts done...then I tried to come home early this morning (because I wasn't driving home in that weather last night) and the roads were horrible, then I got stuck in my driveway and I had to call some friends to help get me out, so I had to park in the street until I could get the driveway shoveled out!! What a morning, like I said I hope Winter is finally over!!

When Gyllyan was little, she never wanted to be left in the walker, now that she can climb in & out of it herself and I try to put it out of the way, she wants to get in it!! Go Figure! When I wasn't looking, she climbed in it and this is the look I got when I found her...looks like she's 'caught doing something wrong!'

COLORING

Gyllyan loves to color now ... she even looks like she knows what she is doing .... but if you don't watch what she is doing .... she colors on EVERYTHING!!

GOOD HYGENE

I'm not sure if it's good hygene or she likes the taste of the toothpaste but she loves to brush her teeth, it's the 1st thing we do together in the morning when we go in the bathroom together!

Adventures in Babysitting......

Saturday night Gyllyan & I went over to my friend Tracy's sister's house to help her babysit her nephew Max & new neice MacKenzie...Gyllyan loved the baby's swing and Max loves his new baby sister....what a night! Gyllyan was tired, MacKenzie was gassy and poor Max just wanted to play!!

Gyllyan's 2nd birthday

Gyllyan turned 2 on January 11th - I can't believe my little punkin' pie is 2 already, where has the time gone??? She had 3 cakes this year, 2 on her birthday, one with me & one with her family and a birthday party on Saturday. She is now a pro at blowing out candles....

New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve, I spent the night at my Aunt Pat's house with Shannon, Beth & the kids...we ate, scrapped, watched the movie Cars, had a fondue dessert and by that time it was midnight already!!

I love the piggie toes in her new shoes...she loves to get dressed up, she's such a little girl! For Christmas I bought her a stroller, a new baby, jewelry, and the shoes...she loved it!

My Christmas morning with Gyllyan

For the past 2 years I have taken Gyllyan to work with me the last day before Christmas, we have a 1/2 day, everyone brings in their kids, we have breakfast for everyone & the kids get their pic taken with Santa (except this year we didn't get to see Santa, he left to quickly, he apparently had lots of toys to still make back at the North Pole) and then the next morning my dad, Patsy, & Bridget come over for breakfast so Gyllyan can open her presents since she spends alot of time at my house, we keep presents here too! Today was not a good day for her!

This is how our morning stared out! She was not a happy camper since I had to wake her up..


But things got better as we opened more presents!


Well I opened her presents, she wouldn't do it!

After we opened all of her presents she was in a much better mood but then she went back into bed to watched the Wiggles!

My friend CJ - I love him, we don't get to spend as much time together anymore and I miss that...when we are together, we act like little children sometimes...I just love it!

My Grandparents...

This is a gift for my mom of mygrandparents...my mom keeps them (in an urn) on top of her entertainment center in her bedroom and talks about them all of the time. There is nothing on the wall above it so I thought this would be the perfect gift..I know she will enjoy it and cry everytime she looks at it.......we miss them sooo much!

Christmas in Disney....

Last year we spent the 1st week of December in Disney World. It was beautiful, all decorated for the holidays and we even got to see Regis & Kelly while they were taping the Christmas Parade in Magic Kingdom! Wish we were there......September will be here soon enough, I guess that will have to do......

Family Holiday Party

Every year my cousins Suzy & John host a holiday party for the family at their house in Doylestown...it's always a good time, good food and we have a pollyanna. This year we decided to do it a little different than ususal, we played "Deal or No Deal" with my cousin Al as the MC. As usual we all had a great time playing and stealing presents from other people!
